This will allow more flexibility for testing improvements and detect potential type instabilities.

This pr includes significant improvements to the spin dynamics differential equation integration, benchmarked at about 25% faster.
The main reason for this speedup is that the new refactored differential equation time-stepping function now produces no allocations.
